IT Business Partner – Brussels

Introduction

As a IT Business Partner , you are responsible to manage the relationship with one of our affiliates,  to identify the needs and manage the portfolio of projects. You permanently analyse the business processes to (re)design technical systems and business models in line with defined mission and strategic objectives. You facilitate interactions and communication across departments and projects, and you play a central role in standardizing the approach towards selection of most adequate solutions and effective planning of their implementation.

The function is based in our offices of Brussels and Jumet ( Charleroi)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Process Management and continuous improvement :

• You are the referred IT business partner to advice the business on improvement opportunities:
  • You participate in elaborating and implementing the Agile Framework
  • You are responsible to consolidate all identified business processes and IT related needs for our affiliate, a CDMO active in Cell & Gene Therapy
  • You define the new solutions and/or improvements priorities together with the business owner and the management for the implementation of projects,
  • You provide advice on how to optimize business processes, leveraging tools and systems.

Business Analyst

• You actively listen to the voice of the business, analyze, clarify, and translate their needs into business requirements and design of related processes.
• You support the company digital development and transformation. You provide possible IT solutions compliant with the IT strategy. You raise awareness of information technology innovations and potential value to a business by approaching problems with curiosity and an open mind.
• You conduct RFI/RFP/RFQ processes for solution selection,
• You advise the business owners and the end users in the implementation or configuration of the chosen solution.
• You participate in the training and documentation of the selected solution

Test and Project Management:

• You understand and apply methodologies, tools and processes to manage projects, optimizing costs and resources usage.
• You select and develop User Acceptance Test to ensure the system meets business requirements.
• You help and guide the business to execute UAT and identify open issues.
• You report and document test results.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Degree in Business Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field,
• Minimum 3 years experiences as a Business Analyst, process design or continuous improvement,
• Knowledge of LIMS, ELN, eBR, MES and assimilated information systems, specific to the Biotechnology industry,
• You are a conceptual thinker with problem-solving capabilities but keep the pragmatic ability to get things done
• You have proven leadership skills and are assertive,
• Knowledge of ERP (accounting, inventory, manufacturing, sales), applications and process flow, specifically focused on operational processes,
• You have proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
• You have analytical skill and are capable to formalize processes (in any modelling language/tool, e.g. BPMN,…)
• You have experience in IT system implementation. You can analyze, interpret and challenge technical documentation, and technical procedures related to existing or new digital solution.
• Strong communication skills, enthusiastic, eager to learn and to evolve in a fast-moving environment
• Fluent in French and English
