SAP Technical Expert – Brussels

Location: Bruxelles, Jumet, Nivelles, partly remote

MISSON:

You will work in a group of 5 affiliated companies. The SAP Technical Expert is responsible for the management of the SAP technical environment and associated integrations. His/her responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment. He/She will resolve SAP technical, integration incidents and manage transports for configuration and customization.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• System administration: installations, upgrades & support package installations
• Application maintenance: you manage the release management process for transport requests.
• End-user device management: you participate in ERP mobile device selection, installation and maintenance,
• Cloud Service: you manage Cloud elements in ERP (S4/HANA) portfolio & Integration — Cloud Services Integration with e.g. SAP Sales Cloud and VIM (OpenText).
• Integration: you configure and support Middleware tools/PaaS Design: you ensure the solutions compliance with enterprise architectural standards and practices

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Higher degree in Software/Computer Technology Field.
• 5+ yrs. experience as SAP administrator
• Good understanding of infrastructure components used by SAP applications (Backup/recovery, Storage, Network, Firewall, Hardware, Hosting, Database, etc.) SAP CPI knowledge preferred.
• You have basic understanding of ABAP to guarantee security standard and performance optimization, debugging.
• SAP certification(s)is/are an asset
• Team player with strong communication skills and with a collaborative spirit
• Knowledge of GxP environment is a plus.
• Fully fluent in English.
• Role shared between 3 sites (Brussels, Jumet, Nivelles).
